Description I don't have a real name yet, but for now so there's something to call him I'm calling Claku. I'd appreciate it if anyone were to offer some ideas how to improve it. The idea was basically a strange mishmash of features because it's a large alien creature, segmented body with a stinger, too many legs, four wings arranged somewhat like a dragonfly or bee, and some sort of jaw which stands out from its usually bug-like nature.
I sort of dislike the initial drawing, especially with the way its head turned out rather too human looking. I drew up a few alternates (call the top 1 and the bottom 4) but I'm not sure if any of them are any good.
The scene this thing appears in is mostly written out, I just need some work on its visual presentation.

The creature Claku has a devious, rather cowardly, back-stabbing sort of nature. Taking opponents head on is something it would prefer not to do, preferring to either ambush them or disorientate them and strike from behind.
Combat abilities and notes:
It flies in a highly erratic manner, dodging about constantly, it changes course rapidly but ultimately its straight flight speed is kind of slow.
It has strong regeneration capabilities and can even reattach severed limbs.
It has several vents along its body that can discharge toxic and corrosive gasses, it likes to throw out trails of it to force other fliers into the flight paths it wants them to take.
It can elongate its limbs somewhat, making its effective striking range notably longer than an opponent would guess at first.
The smaller stingers surrounding its main one can be fired as projectiles, all stingers carry a dose of poison.
It can create a phantom image of itself for about 10 seconds leaving the impression that it's gone in two different directions at once.

Aye, it is.
Looks like walrus went over well, human-faced bug not so much.
Do you think any others are worth submitting? I could keep them to one thread maybe, I saw someone doing that...

I suggest both, submit a bunch into a thread you can make called a Kaijuverse thread. Title it (insert name here)'s Kaijuverse and have a different Kaiju per post.

Pretty seems like an odd descriptor for a kaiju, well one that isn't Mothra or something.

I think you are on the right track. One of the major troubles with insect kaiju is that it's hard to give them a distinct personality. Some of the best examples of those with personality are BoBo and Beelzebub from the fan-created monsters and of course Mothra from the big-namers. The more humanoid face gives you a bit of an edge in this department and adds an extra creepy factor to this monster you have here, it will serve you quite well in the future.

Over all this sneaky character looks like he will be extremely fun when you further flesh him out and give him purpose.

Ah, thank you very much for the feedback here. I might keep the face something like what it is then.
I do have a basic backstory for this monster and his role in the story I'm working on is sort of small, but I think my set up would allow for most of the monsters to have other stories about them, prequel or side story sorts of things. I didn't want to bog this down with a lot of reading but I also sort of worry my story thing is weird enough to be off-putting and I want to have more of it together before I go into some of the details of it.

Ah, it is a pretty good indicator when simple side-monsters have this level of detail and flesh added to them.

I do indeed like the face, it is what draws the eye in the monster here.
