Description [ 7P 3 ]

This is my very first posted Pattern for Photoshop CS. I made them because I wanted to make some parchment paper in Photoshop and actually got these off of drawings done by Leonardo Da Vinci.

Don't let my image above fool you. I used "Paperbrushes" by chain for that crinkled and photocopied edges and also "Stain Brushes" by poison-stock112 for that stained look.

***I will any Dev's that uses my patterns***

Parchment Paper pattern/texture was done by me. Total time: Approximately 10 mins

Best way to use them

Make a selection and then just fill with which of the 7 Parchment Patterns you'd like to use.

It is a seamless pattern so you can make any size piece of paper you want.

All I ask in return

What you need to do is put the file in your photoshop resources pattern folder. Then inside of photoshop make a selection or select all in a new document then goto edit>fill. Now when this box appears goto the top right hand corner you will see a little triangle click on it and then hit the load pattern. Find the 7P3 file and then select which "Parchment Pattern" you want to use. Then click ok.

Tell me if you need more help.

thank you for the brushes and i will add it to fave.
and about the credit...i'm not so sure how it works, could you tell me plzzz...

ericsalvi In reply to pichoho [2007-09-10 19:41:54 +0000 UTC]

what you need to do is place these patterns in your adobe photoshop patterns folder then inside of PS you take your marquee tool and make a selection or you can select all on a new layer and goto Edit and Fill section. Then select the pattern and viola... you got a seamless parchment pattern to any size you need it to be. Oh yeah one more thing you need to go into the options in the Fill panel (the upper right hand triangle) and select load patterns and look for the 7P3 pattern file.

I hope that helps... let me know if you need help.
