Thanks so much for the comments Amy! This was shot in the Anne Scripps Conservatory on Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan. The orchid sat on a shelf in the window, so the light was naturally diffused. Honestly, it was the way the light was hitting the flower from behind that initially caught my eye.
