and we used to jump from the swing as high as possible

Thank you for the comments. Like you, when I was a kid (many more years ago than you!) we used to swing high until we started feeling slack in the chains, then...JUMP! Can't recall how many times I sprained an ankle on the landing, but I know it didn't deter me for long!
