Description That title has a conjectural title and doesn't have an official name yet, much like the guards of St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses. I have to find a official for yet another Mewnian holiday by searching after names debuting in jgss0109's wondrous works about Mewni. At first, finding the real dates isn't easy. Bios of Mewni Queens didn't feature a specific day alongside year on which she was born or dead. Also the month system for Mewni haven't existed yet, as shown on his deactivated tumblr account in which shows all months of the Mewnian calendar. I only knew the Mewnian years and where is connecting to a actual Gregorian year, but that's useless.

So I uploaded a art about the Mewnian version of Midsummer Eve completely without jgss0109's source. As the title says, it's a variant of the traditional Midsummer in Sweden with many elements imported from the Swedish version. While Mewnian religion haven't shown yet, I theorize that the Magic High Commission are actually gods of Mewni, with the Queen of Mewni being leader in command among gods. What now I seeing is that most of Mewmans are whites, the clothes of royals being influenced by the early Vasa era, and the architecture is largely of North European origin, it makes clear that the Mewnian civilization appears to be as developed as 16th century Sweden during the early Vasa era. If any SVTFOE fans didn't know what history contained, I may recommend you to read this page here on Wikipedia.  There's also Google searches for "16th century Sweden " or "Swedish traditions " showcasing images related to these tags.

Anyway, let's move on to the main article. Midsummer is also sprung from pagan rites, it has a lot to do with the Magic High Commission which have phallic symbols and there are rituals centered around this, as a worshipping of fertility and a rich harvest, which is the older meaning of the celebration and the Swedish merchant influence during the 16th century has very little to do with it overall. It's up for jgss0109  to use it and explain more details about the Mewnian version of Midsummer Eve.

The main image shows a maypole made mostly of pine leafs, and on the top flies flags of Sweden and Mewni, as they share similarities. The characters who dances allround the maypole are, from left to right: Lady Whosits, Princess Spiderbite, Sir Scarsguard, Manfred, Higgs, Sir Stabby, Mina Loveberry and Sir Lavabo. Royal performers hanging from the steel wire simulated on the western branch of the maypole include Ruberiot, Foolduke and Mime Girl, who does entertainment during the event. Characters on the middle of the maypole include Pony Head, Janna Ordonia, Marco Diaz, Star Butterfly and Tom Lucitor. Kelly with her sidekick Tad has recreated a provincial map of Sweden with help of 25 hairy creatures joining together in the form of a miracle hair party. Continued from The Mewman maypole with it's Swedish originates .

Now the Midsummer art is complete, have a HAPPY MIDSUMMER! Janna's dress is taken from Commission: Janna Ordonia + SPEEDPAINT by mariakutsu .

I love the art, and the writing is impressive and absorbing. I had a feeling Mewni was connected to Northern Western Europe, but jdgeng from the Stump Day Celebration, pbserved instead of Christmas, I thought Mewni was sister of Anglo-Saxon England, the Yule Tide log being inferred (though Mewneans want to preserve the log (worship it? Close to Druid tradition, maybe? Again Britania-England), rather than use it for warmth, food, whatever, as the Saxons did with the Yule log. Also, I imagined Queen Moon's dress, hairdo, had Queen Elizabeth as a model. So I thought England was the site of Mewnean customs, plus fair people, etc. However, your article has convinced me that Mewni has more in common with Sweden, not quite the same as Anglo-Saxons, or English, or even N. Germans, the original home of the conquerors  of Old Britania, the Angles, Saxons and Jutes. I like your description of possible Mewnian religion, the fertility staves (phallic symbols) and how these inter-connect, esp. with the presence of these Staves in the Highest offices. You know that Woden-Wotan-Odin of England, Germany and Scandinavia, I read somewhere hanged himself as a sacrifice for the people and their crops, (wheat? and CORN?). So this IS a big deal. . I've said enough. Thanks for sharing!
