I think I picked "squirrel" because one of the Hammerspace comics has Minnie talking to her cousin (I think) & when asked what's been happening, Minnie wasn't sure how to answer it, so she said "I saw a squirrel"

Also, I won't draw her mother as a squirrel as well; might be a bit tricky getting the head right. If I can't see her face, I can't draw her head to look Sonic-like
