Definitely my favorite shoot with Elisa! The tentacles weren't nearly as gross feeling or smelling as I'd feared. I just stayed very, very still while Phillip arranged tentacles and then Elisa'd have me arch my back and take as many pictures as she could before those wet-noodley-guys slid outta position.

It remember me the Hokusai's tematic about his filosofy "love-death" in some of his pictures.
This image is the same: It communicates me a tipe of a gentle embrace, but if i look for more time the impression is different, become a felling of unprotected which become prey of something...

The black and white creates such a cool effect where it fools the mind into thinking the tentacles are a tattoo at first, and it is hard to resolve whether they are real or very crafty 2D. I enjoy the way it plays with my head.

Wow...very interesting. It looks very much like an intricate tattoo, but on the sides you can see it's got depth. Definitely interesting!
