Description
I know this one looks abit scary but it was perfectly harmless. We were conducting a humanitarian mission in Nicaragua and the children there were just amazed with us and followed us every where we went. They were watching the helo take off on their swing set and I thought this would be a great shot!Related content

awesome what your doing with your work. Ultimately I want to do what youve been doing. All through highschool every summer ive been going on mission trips. My list includes: mexico, dominican republic (twice), argentina, and now the czech republic this summer. I wish i had my camera for all the other trips but now i have my d1 and nikkor 17-35mm afs (intend on getting another lens) and im ready for a great trip. Awesome work, you earned my watch

I tell you what, it is an amazing experience being a military photographer. There is a lot of politics you have to put up with when you first join but once you really proove yourself, the world is yours. This is the job that will make life stories for your grand children
Thank you very much for the watch, I truly appreciate it

so where exactly did you go? if you dont mind me asking. Thats an actual job in the military? a photographer? that would be absolutely amazing for a job, or atleast for a few years.

Ive been to the dominican republic, and never have i seen more poverty in any place ive been than there. Atleast where i was, we were living with people that lived in cardboard and tin huts that dont have electricity or running water, instead they bucket shower in water thats been used for months for the same purpose and their bathroom is their backyard. I so wish i had my camera back then, as bad as it may sound, it was an incredible experience, so much so that i went back the following summer again. Im going to czech republic this summer and it should be another amazing trip, and ill have my camera this time. we may also travel to italy. Well sounds like youve had an amazing life experience the past few years, and a great job

It is a great picture! I feel bad for their beat up playground equipment though, but then children have a way of seeing things in a better light.

Hey thank you very much kayce! It was a very very poor town. The playground was a luxury for them. I am glad we were able to give them a lot of help.
