Is the Fliegerfaust an original, or a mock-up?

LOL, I thought Fr-Waffen SS divisions were disbanded after the defeat of Liberation of France.

But they weren't, and "Charlemagne" fought to the end in the streets of Berlin.

Yes, they'were in use to the last days, and even after in some armies.

It is called Luftfaust or Fliegerfaust, a 2cm weapon against low flying planes. 7 barrels of rockets.

aah yes, the first man operated anti ait weapon (:

was it very effective?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Erikdevolve In reply to ilmarinenPhotography [2008-12-05 08:40:10 +0000 UTC]

More effective was in use contra infantry, then planes, because it has big spread - 50metres at 500m range.

what do you think about the similarities between MP44 and the AK47 erik? the russian guy kalaschnikow got all the credit for the construction

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Erikdevolve In reply to brechnuss [2008-05-05 10:08:04 +0000 UTC]

Well, yes it's very similiar, but mostly in shape only. The bolt is totally different, and has a cock handle from the right side, while Stg 44 has from left. So, it's not that straight
