Those things are cool.. when I lived in Alaska..there were all kinds of abandoned old pillboxes and bunkers from WWII salted all over the base....we had lots of fun finding them and making clubhouses in them.. ( Until we got caught! ) lol

I know that- We're exploring some old stuff along Our shore as well One by one- it's dozens of them on it - I love bunkers, forts, poterns so on ....

Theyre fascinating ...down along the New Jersey shore they have coastal observation towers..theyre supposed to be "no trespassing" but one of these years I will sneak up one for some shots..

Ours were mostly not guarded as relicts from II W.W., but some , situated at military area were restricted...but You know rules of Youngsters'es curiosity- no bondaries

Yea...that's how it was on the Air Force base in Alaska...some of them were still designated for use in an attack.. several by the flight line were.. we were playing in one of those when we got caught.. we got in trouble...lol

We were about 13...the Air Police took us to the Provost Marshall and called my father there..(he was VERY embarrassed) I didnt get much trouble from them but I sure did from my father!! Whewwww. lol

Once I was caught in military base creeping aruond tanks in My area. Then We spent few hours at police station beeing ask why? what?where?... Ugh- I had a medieval morgenstern weapon in My back pack
They accussed us of trying steal weapon...- ugh- finally I got a letter from police: "According to beeing stoped at the restricted military area, after investigation case is beeing closed. No tracks of criminal act was found" ...Procurator was a father of one of My friends
It was long ago, We're crazy kids and had a looooot of luck in Our recklesses ... Now I can only laught at remember of it
