I saw you say that they are ready to attack someone ... I think it's me! There's a nest near my gate .. and the scare me to death .. I love critters but not the kind that bite or sting!

ummm I can't imagine a wasp likes me in a good way .. bwhahahahaha
I have a new resident .. a wild peahen .. she eats from my hand now .. gah! comes and makes that LOUD noise and now nearly knocks on the front door .. she comes up on the porch and honks or whatever they do .. until I come out with some parrot food and peanuts for her .. but she's quite sweet .. [although I do believe I've spoiled her now] AND two squirrels that come on my back porch through a tear in the screen [that they most likely created but I blame it on the storm] and they eat what the parrots throw from their cages .. now, I've always been a magnet for stray critters .. and I've always put out food for the wild ones .. BUT .. this is gettin a bit expensive .. ya know? AND when they start nearly bangin on my door to beg .. ummm I think I've gone abit overboard ..

Aw, thats cute. You have your own wildlife refuge. I wonder if you can get a tax break for it. My neighborhood is crazy. Filled with birds. Mornings are loud here with chirping. I like it though. Just I have never lived in a neighborhood with this many birds.

I live around neighbors but am more in the country. I'm not that far from town though .. so I like it here. Nice and quiet except for the critters .. I have lots of animals and birds that drop in .. everything from ravens to lizards to giant Sand Hill Cranes .. the protected species ones that are taller than I am. The only things I don't want to come are gators and wild boar and the poison snakes .. those can all stay away thank you much .. but all the others are welcome .. I just wish the peahen wouldn't bellow out on a weekend morning and wake me up .. she's 10 times louder than any rooster ..

I think that would be awesome. I would even like to see a gator and wild boar. Not the snakes though. I like snakes but they can get into the house.
