This is my first bjd ever. She is a bobobie Ariel and I love the way she looks. Her face sculpt is gorgeous. She came with a faceup, but I removed it and repainted her. So this is also my first faceup ever. Think she came out pretty well. Now I just need to learn ho to adjust the eyes and wig before photographing

Little did I know that favoriting this doll a few years ago would later lead to my own doll collection. This doll was the first BJD I ever saw, and I was completely mesmerized. After a long time saving and preparing, reading, and studying, I looked into getting my own dolls. Currently, I own four dolls of my own, and am working towards getting a few more, including an Bobobie Espree, a doll with the same face as this one. (Probably gonna get her much faster than the other, though.

here's the thing about bjd dolls: You can zoom in and focus on the doll all you want, you will never see their imperfections. ;-;

Beautiful first! That's a brilliant start in the hobby! My first is RS Ya, and I'm still working on her face up. My non-hobbyist friends think she's pretty but odd, and my parents are glad I've finally shut up about her.
