Hauru frΓ₯n "Hauro no Ugoki shiro". Made his eyes green 'cause they are green in the book. And his stone iin the ear should be blue. I love this book. Took me ten years to find me a copy of it with the original translation, where Howl's name is Ryt. (Direct translation of howl).Character design belongs to Hayao Miyazaki

Ryt is a sort of translation of Howl in Swedish. The direct translation would be the verb Ryta, but that would sound strange, hence Ryt. Very cute.

Ohh I see... Ryt is cute... and seems easier to spell than Howl (at least for me. and because of that, I spell his name like they do it on the movie, in japanese. it's the easiest way XDD)
so, in the swedish version they translated his name? (i didn't understand that, sorry XD)

Not in the Swedish dub of the film, there he was Hauro. It's in the original book that it's based of, the very first edition that came out years ago. There his name is translated to Ryt. When the repuplished the book they renamed him Howl. I was really dissapointed.

and about the film, i'm not sure if they've done a portuguese dubbed version of it, but I got reeeeeally curious about it, so I'm going to look up at youtube or something like this.

I always use to borrow it from the library, 'cause it wasn't available in the stores any more. Then a few years ago I found the original version in a second hand shop. I think there aren't any differences between the english old verison and the english new version, but in the Swedish translation there's lots of differences.
