Description Well this pic started off as a sequel to [link] but the commissioner changed his mind at the last minute and instead it's a pic based off the final stage of Double Dragon, and an addaption of the first scene from Batman Beyond with Batman saving Bunny Vreeland from kidnappers

I remember seeing that episode of Batman Beyond!
Best part of being an heiress is getting tied up and rescued by brave heroes.
Well, I guess besides all the money of course.

Too bad.

I liked JL, JLU, Batman TAS through Batman Beyound, GreenLanturn TAS, TeenTitans, StaticShock and YoungJustice, but very little past that.Β  I do like "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.Β  I don't care for any version of Batman where he wears blue (exception being the Scooby Doo cross-over), Superman TAS (watch those occasionally because Lois and Supergirl are cute. ) (I liked it better before I was introduced to the live action version - far superior, I think.) and I especially Hate TeenTitansGo! XPΒ  The Titans are De-he-head! (weeps bitterly)

One issue with YoungJustice, however - the beautiful Miss. Martian should not exist.Β  As evidenced in the end of the JusticeLeague movie, Martian Man-hunter said, "Now Mars is dead, and I am alone in the universe."Β  So... how does he have a niece?

But I love Marvel, The Avengers, The X-Men, GhostRider, The Next Avengers, not a big fan of Spider-Man, though.Β  Cool powers, not a cool guy - in the movies, at least.Β  He's just... not my favorite.

But, I love IronMan, CaptianAmerica, The Incredible Hulk, and of course, a mutant everyone knows, The Wolverine!

One big problem with The Next Avengers, though.Β  Why couldn't The original Avengers defeat Ultron?Β  The kids did it easily enough. XP

I stand corrected; it seems I'm a bigger DC fan than I realized. lol

Ironically Spider-Man is my favorite Marvel character XD the only one I'd put in my favorites list.Β

See I revealed your inner DC fan

I was referring to the fact that you don't work for DC comics.Β  I was kinda hoping you could pass along some complaints I have.Β  But since you don't, never mind.

What do you like about him so much? (curiosity)
I prefer the original (1990s-ish) college cartoon version, he's older, smarter, more mature, funnier and it links all the classic versions together.Β  Not like all the newer ones where they say, "Now let's try him this way, or how about this way, or maybe this way".Β  Geez people, pick a formula and stick with it already!
But my main issue is mainly how he's differant from all the other superheroes - he's not rich/ has rich friends (that's more of a two-side coin with the Osborns), crimefighting isn't his regular job, he has trouble balancing - not only being a super hero and having a job but - being a super hero, having a job, *and* having a social life where he's practically a nobody.
Can't say much for his enemies either, with the exceptions of The Green Goblin, Electro and the Lizard, the rest are kinda weak, I think.

Yes, yes, I admit it - I'm a bigger DC fan than I realized.Β  And as big a Batman fan as I am, if he and Wolverine got into a fight - no contest - Wolverine would win. (blood bath)

erikson1 In reply to Omnifighter1 [2014-06-18 08:51:24 +0000 UTC]

well the original version is the 1960-is high school student version Actually quite a few characters are nit rich/have jobs/and a social life. Spider-Man is know thought for how prominent those aspects are in the stories

Wolverine vs Batman? Depends...Batman never fights fair and has taken out bad guys much more powerful than Wolverine. If they both existed in the same universe Batman would probably have 200 plans already in place to neutralize him before the fioght even starts, Β like he has for the rest of the Justice Lague. XD

Omnifighter1 In reply to erikson1 [2014-06-18 16:48:01 +0000 UTC]

If your saying Spider-Man is famous for it - yeah, that's kinda the point of my argument.Β  But are you saying characters as in civilians or other superheros?Β  If superheros - name a few.

Oh please, Wolverine can survive anything.Β  In the movie "The Wolverine", he survived a nuclear blast.Β  Nearly wiped his flesh from his bones - and that was before he got the Adamantium.Β  Wolverine's been trianed as a Samurai, so... he can easily deflect Batman's kicks and punches, and he'd slice Batman's bateranges like tomatoes.Β  Batman may fight under the cover of darkness, but with Wolverine's senses, he'd might as well have night vision.

Unless batman has viles of "The Mutant Cure" on hand, Wolverine can easily take him out.Β  And Wolverine is probably immune to that stuff.Β  Wolverine is immortal and invincible.Β  Batman is only a mortal with brains and gadgets - More or less a super smart Inspector Gadget in a cape.

So, as I said before, "no contest".

erikson1 In reply to Omnifighter1 [2014-06-19 02:22:11 +0000 UTC]

XD Wolverine can survive anything? So can Superman (nuclear explosion in his face, planets blowing up in his face, star going supernova in his face) and Batman has beat him more than once. All I am saying is that anyone can beat anyone in comics if the story calls for it. Watch Justice League DOOM to see how creative Batman can be in defeating a whole team of characters vastly more powerful than Wolverine. Also Wolverine will be dead come this fall so the point is moot

Omnifighter1 In reply to erikson1 [2014-06-19 02:41:37 +0000 UTC]

First off, Wolverine has no weaknesses, Superman does - Kriptonite. "Doesn't take much, does it?" - Batman - "The Batman Superman Movie"

They all have weaknesses - Green Arrow: break his bow and/or arrows, GreenLantern: yellow energy (also, knockout gas can get through his shields), Captain Atom: rip his suit - in three seconds he explodes like a nuclear warhead, The Flash: use a strong enough static charge and you can pin him to the ground, Hawk Girl:Β  pretty much defenseless without her mace, WonderWoman: Not indestructible - overpower her with a choke hold-sneek attack or just use a gas grenade, Martian Manhunter: he's weakened by fire (ironic since he comes from Mars - one of the hottest planets in the solar system), Dr. Fate: remove his helmet - not easy to do but can be done if the attacker's magic is strong enough, Zatanna's father (can't think of his name): Tape his mouth shut, need I continue?

What the what?Β  What do you mean, "Wolverine will be dead come this fall"???Β  What have you heard!?!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

erikson1 In reply to Omnifighter1 [2014-06-20 09:10:18 +0000 UTC]

Wolverine has no weaknesses? No specific ones but he can be beat...what if Batman constructs a device that can mimic Magneto's powers...just saying...

Also...a lot of those characters you sell short. Wonder Woman is in a class with Superman and can survive a nuclear blast (she just did it a few months ago). She is also one of the greatest warriors on earth. Doubtful she would be that easy. Hawk Girl also has super human strength and flight. Β Green Lantern's ring no longer is inhibited by yellow. All these methods are very specific and difficult to pull off (Superman is vulnerable to kryptonite but he is super smart, fast as light and the most powerful being on earth or even the galaxy, so you have to be lucky or, like Batman or Luthor, a first class super genius to get the drop on him). In every X-man film Wolverine seems to get his ass handed to him every time he confronts Magneto. In the comics Magneto even ripped all the adamantium out of his body). Just attach him to a giant magnet and he is done.

Yes "The Death of Wolverine" is a miniseries this fall, Marvel is killing him off for the foreseeable future. Scuttlebutt at the local comic shop is this,as well as canceling Fantastic Four, is part of a ploy to win back the film rights to the FF and the X-men. Not only will the FF and Wolverine no longer be published in comics they are stopping production of all Wolverine merchandise to lower the character's profile and hopefully make the X-men less desirable a property for Fox to hold on to.

Omnifighter1 In reply to erikson1 [2014-06-20 19:49:37 +0000 UTC]

First.1 - I forgot about Magneto - I'll admit to that.

First.2 - A machine like that would require a lot of power, all Wolverine would have to do is cut its' supply. (Before you say the magnetic field would be all around the machine and power supply as a defense mechanism - I don't think magnet's and batteries mix.Β  I know magnets and batteries don't mix with extreme heat.Β  Calling in Cyclops!)

Second.1 - You keep using a timeline.Β  I assume you're basing it off the comics.Β  We don't have a comic book store around where I live, and I don't have the money for a monthly membership for ordering them online.Β  I operate souly by the cartoons and movies DC and Marvel produce.

Second.2 - Another reason I don't read the comics is because they tend to be a bit to dark for my taste - like that "Magneto ripping all the adamantium out of Wolverine's body" thing you mentioned.Β  That's a good example.

Third - Why would Marvel stop publishing Wolverine and FantasticFour comics?Β  That makes no sense - I don't care if they're trying to get owner rights back from Fox.Β  You don't discontinue one of the most popular characters you have - that makes no logical sense,
