Description Did my best to imagine the Disney-fied versions of the Mock Turtle and Gryphon had they appeared in Alice and Wonderland.

Awww.....if I were there, I'd lick those tears rolling down the Mock Turtle's cheek with my tongue and hug him.

I thought the Mock Turtle was supposed to be part human (according to the 1999 version), not a bull, unless that's in the original novel

Great job! I was searching art when I spotted this I was like "That scene isn't in my version!" I was convinced that it was Disney's. Well done!

I have done this too, I have to dig mine up...the lion, unicorn and man in the paper suit!

Your renditions are perfect!

Actually Disney DID do both a Mock Turtle and Gryphon for the Disney Movie (along with versions of The Jabberwock, White Knight and Humpty Dumpty) all of them were just cut out of the movie (for time reasons) fairly early. However traces of all remain (excpet maybe the white Knight). the Mock turtle and gryphon were used in a Jello commercial (with the Mock turtle being voiced by Sterling Holloway, wh odid the Cheshire cat in the movie)

and here is what the MT looked like in color

The Jabberwock made it into one of the book adaptations

and Humpty was in the liner of one of the records.

Icidentally while I was wandering around the net I found this. If you look at pages 21-23 you can see the Disney Humpty-Dumpty
