Pink Floyd - Momentary Lapse of Reason - Learning to Fly

I found this bird, in front of my padio door. It fell from its nest which was right above. The birds parents were looking for the child, but he was just too low to the ground. I moved him on to a metal dustpan, without touching him. I put him on the table. Than, I saw that he was fluttering around, it seemed that he was learning to fly. I put him on the ground. I wanted to take care of the bird, but I wanted the parents to find him. I checked on the bird the next day, he passed on. The bird may not have learned to fly here on earth, but he did learn how to fly in heaven.

Above the planet on a wing and a prayer,
My grubby halo, a vapour trail in the empty air,
Across the clouds I see my shadow fly
Out of the corner of my watering eye
A dream unthreatened by the morning light
Could blow this soul right through the roof of the night
