Description
I took this the same day as I did 'biding my time', same beach, although a lady bug was on these real nifty plants. The color I think might be dull, but I didn't touch this one, a single bit. It's as .raw as it gets, and frankly I think the color is slightly dull. I'll probably make a revision to this, with color, but I quite like this boarder.

Yes, 55mm. Soon upgrading to something far better (maybe a macro lens?), I just need about another $100 bucks.

wow, those are some pretty flowers and cool ladybug. Yeah I'd have to agree with you the pic could use a bit more color; however, at when I first saw the picture I thought it was pretty good, didn't notice the color deficiency until you mentioned it, I was too entranced by the amazing DOF choice you had.

working with color profiles, I hate it, I never know how other people are viewing it!
I'm glad you liked the DOF, much thanks for your comment.

color profiles are pretty easy... just make sure you convert to sRGB before you post it onto dA because web apps can only correctly interpret sRGB; pictures usually look very very desaturated if you use anything but sRGB on the web. You only use Adobe RGB for editing in photoshop and that's it because you don't even print photos in Adobe RGB, usually the picture has to be exported to CMYK or sRGB depending on the printer profile.

I will be of course using your advice when it comes to color. I thank you for that advice.
