Hopper, the main antagonist of A Bug's Life.Hopper is a feared grasshopper who is blind in one eye due to a scratch caused by a recent encounter with a blue jay. He leads a large gang of grasshoppers, who hold a Mafia-like control over the ants.
Hopper is cunning, bad-tempered, and tyrannical. Whereas most of the grasshoppers consider the ants harmless, Hopper is aware that the ants outnumber them, and therefore plots to kill the queen ant to frighten them into submission. His catchphrase "Let's ride!" is uttered when the grasshoppers are about to take flight en masse.

Guess what?? I went to this theme park but I skipped a bugs land all because of my fear of running into this guy... Now I wish that I wasn't scared of him....>_<

The style of Hopper's limbs have made it into a character I'm developing. Really cool guy. He's a species of insectoid called thri-kreen (sometimes seen in Dungeons and Dragons). He's half grasshopper, half praying mantis, and he's a shaman. He's also the last of his kind.
I didn't get to go to the California Adventure Park. I gotta check out this part of it next time I go.

California Park was awesome - we really enjoyed it,
it is going through some major renovations at the moment -
They are building a new area dedicated to CARS and the water area is all drained at the moment
(( I follow it online -- as we live in New Zealand ))

wow, I visited that park like two years ago or something... however I don't remember if the Bug's life are was still up... I would have loved to take pictures with Hopper!
