My wife is a HUGE fan of the Justice League cartoon, and of Hawkgirl in particular. So for her birthday this year I did a little sketch up for her of Shayera in all her glory.Hawkgirl, hawkwoman, etc... She looks far better without that helmet of hers.
Staedtler pens, warm & cool grey markers, printer paper... Nothing fancy here, folks!

You should scan what she looks like now. I actually think the more yellow/gold colour looks better than it did originally, it's warmer. : o)
