tldr sans got the horrortale alphys treatment because they couldnt take paps eye
all it appears he can do is eat nowdays
pap lies to him and feeds him human meat because he refused to eat it when he knew it was human

paps eye wouldnt turn off when he used it to attack alphys + undyne, so its slowly burning him alive
eventually with enough time he'll become consumed by it.. but thats not now, its just creeping down his spine rn
he convinced everyone else that they must eat humans but he steals the normal food for himself, hes hoping itll reduce the fire(maybe working???)

sans was drawn like a week ago and pap was drawn literally yesterday
