Description More color practice. Tried to be spontaneous so I could stay loose and not get all caught up and intimidated. Not the best, but it came out alright.

... and now I feel stupid because I said the sketch didn't need colour. I completely missed this coloured version. Ah, well.

This comes off as a *completely* different person, somehow. Less ethereal, more sturdy. Still unmistakeably feminine, though, what with her colour-coordinated wings and lipstick ^__^ .

This bright pink is an awesome colour for wings. Very bold.

Hurr, it's ok. I'm grateful that you actually commented on both. ^-^'

This also was an exercise in color. I wanted a lot of contrast and eye catching colors. Didn't mean for lipstick lips, but... you're right they do look that way. Hell, I didn't realize I was even coordinating colors while I was busy trying to make her horns and the like look like silver. My coloring things does seem to really change the image though, so I know what you mean. It's why I'm afraid to color things sometimes even.

There's nothing like some pink to make things interesting. Part of why I wanted to use it.

's all right; it's a good BOGO deal. That's the charm about digital colouring; you get to keep the lineart and can do the colouring over and over again until you find out what works best.

I didn't realize there's a silvery shine about the horns. You're right. I mistook them for bone.

It's ok that they looked like bone, at least that means it looks organic. I didn't do too well with the whole metallic sheen thing there anyway. The way I see it here, it's win win.

I find this rather creepy.
Not that it's bad or anything.

It just reminds me of a creeper looking at you from behind a tree. o....o

She is pretty though. ^^ Excuse my oddities.

Well, I did want a certain intensity to her, not to mention she's kind of weird on her own. I don't mind you finding her creepy if that's what you get. I didn't really aim for anything in particular here. So go ahead and be odd. It's way more fun that way anyway.

It is more fun to be weird. :3
It is a nice drawing though. ^^ Like I said.

I just naturally picture a creeper behind a tree.

Heh, either way thanks a lot for commenting. Nice to hear from you. No need to be shy, after all, I'm just some goof.

Welcome. ^^

I'm a bit of an oddball, too. ^^"
I always thought you were going to be strict because I tended to see your critiques and more constructive comments on Candy and Cindy's works.

It's a pleasant surprise how friendly you are. ^^

From what I've been noticing, I come off as really serious most of the time, but I'm not. I don't use a lot of emotes and the reason I try to be constructive is because I want to help more than anything really. Besides, I think that if I'm going to say anything about a piece of work it should mean something beyond "I like it".

Glad you find me friendly now, because I'm pretty sure there are plenty who don't think so. Thems the breaks, though.

I am happy with what people comment on my works even if it's just "I like it"
Then again, that's just me. ^^"

But, yes. You don't seem as serious to me now.
"Thems the breaks" ?
Sounds like something someone from the south would say. I feel rather stupid because I live in the south and don't know what it means. o..o

I'm not really sure about where "Thems the breaks" came from, it's just something I heard on tv and stuff growing up. Don't feel stupid though. All it means is stuff like "that's the way the cookie crumbles" and "I guess that's just the way it is".

I thought it was something along those lines. o...o
I never watched TV as a child. or well, between the ages of 7 and 10. No cable. Lol.

That's alright. Besides you got to learn what it means anyway, right?
