The way how the white colour goes a bit beyoung the lineart really reminds me of some "cutout drawings" or what it's named.
Together with the darker colour of the background it gives it a bit of a 3D-ish feel. Similar to a modern-day multi-layered 2D sidescrolling game.
I also like that cute little glass of eyes next to the pigeon and the wood it's standing on!
The bird is drawn with few lines yet still feels "whole", and there are the details like the chains on the neck and the feet!
Then of course there's the eyes, seeing everywhere. (360 noscope)
I don't know the story behind the eyes, maybe the pigeon wanted to read many books at the same time or something else.
But whatever it is, having so many eyes takes dedication!
A very nice picture of a nice looking bird looking back everywhere, well done!

the concept of black and white picture with many eyes seems familiar.
But i can't figure out where it was..

I have no idea how i found it, or remembered it at all. But seeing old art is always interesting because that way it can be seen how much you improved since then.
