Description
Hey guys, sorry I've been busy with helping releasing some products over on CGbytes while project E is getting fixed and cleaned up. Last night I gave myself a bit of time to experiment with some shapes, to see if p.e can handle them. These are just experimental morphs, the final version will have better. Here we see an African lady. That skin is tough to get right, but I'm fairly ok with it for now. I showed her to Amos, one of the employees on our estate. He said: "She looks like she comes from Burundi!"

Gorgeous, accurate skin specularity. Great work dude.

Awesome skin specularity! Super realistic. I wish you could share a tutorial on skin specularity!

That's a really good African morph!
I've been looking at closeup photographs of eyes, and the white part of the eye or sclera is not really completely white. It is slightly grey with RGB values of approximately R 240, G 240 and B240 according to the digital color meter on my computer. Of course it also partly depends on the photograph itself and the lightning conditions, but I think that if you tone the whiteness down slightly, they will look more natural.

yep the sclera have always been a real tough one for me to nail, also with some of the artifacts that arise because of close proximity geometry. I'm now learning from bagginsbill how to solve that problem.

Him? HIM????Β I do believe you have been working too hard or maybe your mind is talking faster than it can translate... Slow down... we'll still be here when you're done...
Nicely done. I detect some asymmetrical features... Are those dialed?

oh jesus I didn't even realize lol! I might be doing too much yes. thanks let me change that.Β
I think you might be seeing texture asymmetry, the eyebrows for sureΒ

Remember that "the faster you go, the behinder you get..."
Maybe it is the lighting shadows... it gives both her nose and lips a hint of asymmetry...

Yes, it's about texture bump mapping, which you're already doing quite for the most part. Maybe you've already accomplished some of what I'm shown, but the examples shown could represent exaggerated additions that could be done.
