Description
When I saw A tale among dragons by It inspired me. I knew I had to take the opportunity to put color to it. This is one of the first pieces I have done using the flatting process that professional colorists use prior to polishing their work. I must say it was worth it, because it added a level of versatility that allowed me to play with the color combinations until I found what I was looking for. No inks were used in creating this piece, the it went straight from pencil, to digital color, when you have high quality lines it is possible to still get good results this way. Thanks to Hector for posting the hi res piece to allow me to do this. If you haven't checked out his gallery, do yourself a favor and go look, he's an amazing penciler.
