Description
This one took a while. The render was the usual hour, but this took me about 3 hours to put together in GIMP. It's heavy layer-wise: 27 in total, and that's even when I merged as many layers as I could. The file was able to chew up 250+ MB of memory at a time. But in the end, I think all that time payed off.

To admit, I browsed the Alphacoders website for other wallpapers, and tried to replicate some the effects. In the end, I pretty much failed. But I did learn to scrape together some new tricks.
