I'm going to rebrand these guys as DYI pals. They are essentially when people try to make their own Travel Pals by hand instead of buying one from the store. These guys can come in many shapes or sizes with different functionality (just like the thing they're trying to rip off).

Before you can get a decent product you need to first have a prototype... unfortunately not all prototypes are very... good.

This particular prototype was created to play music, video games, and movies. Unfortunately due to budget cuts it wasn't made very well. It's major flaw is that the creators never made a cover for the disk and needless to say... many cuts occurred. In severe cases, however, people got their fingers sliced off from the spinning CD. Of course, it's not the little robots fault. It never meant to hurt anyone. Its creators should have made it better.
