Don't get me wrong guys, I never watched the movie. but the book is good even without the those adult scenes. (I am a bookworm)
Why is their reaction like this? Well, simply. Maka and Kid are bookworms, so, I imagine that they tried to watch it.
Maka was like. "what in Lord Death is going on?" or "Is that really necessary?"
and Kid was... "What are we watching?!" or "Oh Death.... No."

Hahaha, their expressions are priceless. Although I'm quite surprised of the film of choice (mostly because I've heard awful things about it. I haven't seen it, but a friend tried reading the first book and they just couldn't)

I've heard that too, and yeah the book is not really suitable for everyone, I didn't like the first time I read it but after a while I did
Well, I choose the film since I am a fan of the book and how I imagine the expression of their face.
It was like, boom "I want their expressions like this when they watch this movie, mwuhahahaha"

It's not for the smut, actually. But rather, the relationship portrayed is really unhealthy, with Christian following her and completely dismissing her doubts and negations.
But I had to agree that the idea of Kid and Maka watching it is really amusing xD (Oh the power of drawing: making you able to draw your OTP in all imaginable settings)

OH MY DEATH. I heared things about this movie... and some of these things are not fit for Maka and Kid to watch>< Seriously, they are so adorkable! I can see them reacting like that!

I still haven't watched the movie yet. But I really love the book the complete three series.
They say the movie was horrible but the thing is, they only did the first book. also only pick up.. like 25% of it, loosing the story and the love that have grown between them.
Just saying since I am a bookworm, "never judge a book by its movie" they say ^u^
Hahhaha, and they end up watching a different movie instead xD
But trust me, One of the perfect book that have the same love story for out OTP is Existence Trilogy by Abbi Glines.
Its about Death who had fallen in love with a human thus saving her from her death, and reading further, the woman he had fallen too have a unique soul different from all mortals xD

You're one of the few people that admit to liking the book, I like that XD I read it too (the trilogy, actually ), and it's really not that bad. The romance was interesting, even if it was too sugar coated at times .o.
