See that one pic in my Faves? I went to school and continually drew it over and over.Eventually, I did my own takes and it evolved from a cat, to panda, to a raccoon, to this odd hybrid. The actual outcome was actually much more plushy, which I will submit later. This little critter isn't the Nightmare necessarily. Instead, it transforms from a cuddly plush into a monster of horrific proportions. I'll get the actual sketch in later. This was an old style I incorporate. He's an adorable thing. The thing is, though, that this 'nightmare' isn't a nightmare on itself. He ends up turning into the remnants of a tattered cowl. It's meant to be sinister, and I;'m glad you caught what I was trying to say. xD
It's a play off of the nightmare I faved. So why not ad a little something dark in there. But don't worry. This one's huggable. Just watch the claws...
