Description
The second of three fractals postworked in Photoshop and Painter 8.The background layer is 100% fractal, created in UF. The upper layer is 100% digitally hand-drawn and coloured, with some texture work.
My idea was to create lively, colourful images with a certain naΓ―ve air to them. The drawn part is certainly not perfect, it only meant to be cheerful and evocative. These are decorative images, not "serious" works of art -though I wouldn't know where exactly to set the boundaries
The titles also agree with my "naΓ―ve" intention, no playing with words, no allusions. This is a tree with fruit. I hope you like it.

something cought my eyes to these images... I guess it's their delicacy and fragility, combines with the reference
to some ancient paintings (frescos) or even tapestries (which I looooove!)
great works, love!

hey ersi!
your trees are sooooo nice!!!! I'm so happy I saw them
you never see everything in ones' gallery....
and tapestries, well, maybe we're the last few who cares for...?

You may be right about the tapestries . Such a pity. There is a very important school in Madrid that still teaches traditional tapestry techniques, I hope it contributes to their survival.
And my trees are de-lighted with your good words!

(smile) really? (about the school) I thought it's a forgettable knowledge....
I'll share your hopes!

I like this one, as I like the pale colors and the wonderful fruit. A tree in a bright pastel world.

A friend said those apples would be the end of Eva! I rather think they are sweet, not luxurious. Thank you, Kat!

I like this one best of the series. The color gradient gives this a magical feel, which I think you were trying to evoke. Nice composition.

I like this a lot; but it doesn't grab me the way the other does. I think it's the colors; because the shapes are quite beautiful. It's a wonderful image, though, no matter what.

Thank you! Even slight changes to the gradient produce strikingly different results with this formula. I really liked the soft colours here

It reminds me of an old story I liked when I was a kid, about a giant who hated children and wouldnt let them play in his garden, where stood a huge apple tree. Eventually the giant gave in and let the children play...
Its a lovely picture.
