Description about the one at the end: PLEASE NOTE THAT BECAUSE A PICTURE HAS TWO GUYS IN IT DOES NOT MAKE IT BL. thank you.

Called the sketchdump "prism" because I found a sketch for each color All these are fairly recent except for the ones for orange and yellow (which are from last summer) I really think I was better then, I actually had my own style (sort of) hahaha XD
These were drawn on small paper, 9 inches high for the two largest ones, 8 for the others.

---my comment on the pictures---
Red: Yes the sword was made with Kamui's in mind XD
Orange: old one, an OC called Monarch, is genetically manipulated (yes I love genetically manipulated) steampunk cyborg butterfly human.... people were trying to make fairies.....
Yellow: For a story I made up. This was drawn in my lucky sketchbook <3 (which sadly is now full) For one of my many (sad) supernatural shoujo stories, this one called "white raven"
Green - random girl.... I do not like her eyes.... tea anyone?
Blue: Kotori or someone who looks like her.... I like to draw kotori
Violet: this is purple because it's the color of death..... These are my characters of Hades (god of the underworlds) and Thanatos (god of the Dead) .... Thanatos is Hades's daddy (sort of) lol I just realized that hades looks a lot like the one from Saint Seiya Lost canvas- crap this happens again now I am going to have to change the design D:

B-bbut your sketches are way better than this! Your sketches are actually a lot of inspiration to me, to try harder to make beautiful detail and layout! And besides that, you can actually sketch without smudging!

You've got skills sis, maybe you just need a little break and then BAM! , you'll be at it again.
Trust me it works, I'm going through a phase familiar to yours, and I don't even know what to do with myself ... I can hardly draw other people's characters with my style anymore since it only seems to fit the manga project I've been working on for a bit too long...
Now almost all my drawings end up looking like him==> !
So i just dropped my pen and said 'screw it' for a week or two, and the whole style thing is becoming a bit more natural to me now, even though I feel intimidated still...><~

there is when my style gets unbalanced (like it often does), whenever I try to draw, it turns out looking just wrong... and my skills don't come back until I've balanced my style again, which means I have to draw like crazy OxO I hate this cycle

Awwwh... well, your style will straighten out again... you just have to take it by the tail and shake it till it cooperates XDDD *shot*

I hate it too ,makes me want to quit sometimes (though I know it's quite impossible at this stage!)
Ohgod, so true lol,I began working on facial expressions recently and then everything went beserk >Haha, yeah it's sorta working now ^^.

And it doesn't help that clamp's old style has eaten all my styles when they were still babies~! how do I get rid of it~~?!?! *sobs* GOAWAYIWANTMYOWNSTYLE~~ (clamp take back your style!)
ohman I just tried to relearn how to draw and my style left me

Don't worry much about it !
For me, it was one of the reasons i stopped reading mangas altogether. The whole style consuming thing!
I actually hardly read manga immediately after I completely decided to begin drawing, at least until i gained a style of my own. It's probably one of the reasons I progressed so slow.
Re-learn?, why not try styles that are very different from Clamp-like works... maybe your style can rebuild from there. Though I love your current style~

lolol though I found that it helps to read a lot of different opposing manga, I think it helps my style to grow (after I relearn to draw every time). I've recently been trying to read mangas with opposite styles at the same time (well, a chapter of this one a chapter of that one, you get what I mean.) Like Rumiko Takahashi will balance out Trinity blood, and Clamp is balanced out by Naruto..... balance balance, eu I'm starting to sound zen XD

well purple is often associated with death as well....it's the color of magic and special effects that characters related to death always use O.o Probably has something to do with blacklights.....

Just often = white: light/purity, black: darkness/nothingness, red: love/hate/strength/war, orange: heat/fire/burning, yellow: riches/calm/prosperity, green: life/earth, blue: coldness/water/ice, purple: death/shadow/the underworld. Don't ask why it's probably an idea I got in my head when I was 9 or something XD

actually, I want to; I'm willing to speculate that anything can exist, as long as logic does not prove otherwise. As well, there are many things in this world which we humans do not know about..... it's only logical to admit that they certainly could exist, whether they're the type of fairies we think of or something completely different, if you see what I mean.

I'm not sure what to think, wether they are extinct, in hiding, spirits, or just people don't remember them because they don't believe anymore..... or wether fairies are even similar at all to the legends, but in any case it is interesting!
