Description
I've been working on this castle on-and-off for months now. I've built many LEGO castles in my time, but I've never made this serious of an artistic attempt. There are certainly some flaws I see and some things I've learned over the course of construction that I will implement in future projects, but overall I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. This single picture fails to show all the nifty features: the main keep has three floors...the roof, 3rd floor, and 2nd floor are removable. The top section of the tower is also removable. The portcullis can be lowered and lifted by a pulley. There is a cute little well in the courtyard, the courtyard-facing wall of the tower opens to reveal its interior.
I think the castle in general looks nice, but the beauty is in the details. Anyway, it's time to tear this one down and begin a new one!

Thanks! I'm really just a n00b when compared to other builders, but it's a fun hobby and I'm learning great new techniques by following the work of better builders. If only I had the money to invest in mass parts...

Same here! I don't have a huge collection, so I try to improvise using what I have.

Your dragons are fantastic, by the way.
