It was apparently supposed to be canon, but Nick said it was too dark and plugged it as an AU. You told me the episodes are on Vimeo, I think. I'm not really happy about the crossover because of how they portray the 87 Turtles, so I was just asking if you'd seen it because I knew you'd want to if you haven't. Nick plans to air it as the actual finale.

Leonardo didn't know his katanas could cut, WTH. It was implied rather than said, I'm told, but that was cringeworthy and not IC and I've heard Leonardo in general wasn't handled very IC in other parts too. He's my favorite Turtle, so that would be a serious problem for me. I did see a Shredder and Krang clip that was pretty funny, though.

Found that scene both funny & not the good kind of weird, & I can agree with that conflict in a way. Donnie is my favorite turtle but I always & still do hate his crush on April because it would take him out of his character & sometimes if something would happen to her or it involved her he'd take anger out on someone : (
Yet if she does something to him it's peachy fine -_-
I've just never liked Apriltello or any ships regarding the turtles for that matter.

Yeah, I was pretty concerned from the moment I read a summary saying the 87 Turtles would have to be trained. That sounded like they would probably be dumbed down, and it sounds like that is what happened during that scene. I never liked the thought of the April crush for 2012 Donnie, either. It sounds even worse than I thought from your description, sigh. I'm not too big on romantic ships between the Turtles and humans, although I do keep 87 Michelangelo's crush on the humanoid Kala. But I don't plan to ever really have them get together. And I'm not really a fan of the ships for Raph with other mutants, either. Shredder and Krang are hilarious. Their interaction in the crossover would be the best part of it for me, I think.

hm. I figured it's because they're used to fighting in there world where it's kinda easier & alittle bit goofy but it changes because everyone & thing is more serious in the 2k12 era & I like how they pointed that out & made them evolve into fighting in both styles. Just be lucky they didn't go in the mirage world R.I.P.

And what annoys me is some of my friends who dislike Apriltello or any 2k12 ship would get harassed by fans who do ship them.

Me too though what I was alittle bit disappointed about throughout the whole thing was I felt there wasn't enough interaction.
Like I wish Anton & Ivan got to meet they're 1980s counterparts but they were only mentioned to them. I wish the 80s turtles got to say something about Slash & Leatherhead because I'm pretty sure there's 80s versions of both of them. I definitely wanted to see they're reactions to 2k12 Splinter being dead. & 80s Shredder's reaction to his counterpart being dead but oh well

Yeah, that probably is the idea. I do like that they were able to pick up the style and the Nick Turtles respect them. And true, a crossover with Mirage would be highly disturbing. Although, I think they did see the Mirage world in Turtles Forever, alomg with the 2003 Turtles? And that is highly upsetting about people getting harassed. Not all of them are posting in pro-ship territory, I imagine. Some just mind their own business and get harassed anyway. I've been harassed over stories I wrote that certain people didn't like, for instance. (Non-romantic ones.) Or I make an anti-certain pairing post and some pro person jumps in and acts very disturbing, telling me to never insult her beloved ship and proceeding to act like she's been harassed because I don't like her ship. Scary. And that is too bad there wasn't as much interaction as there could have been! I ... am not sure who Anton and Ivan are, as I don't recall any 87 characters by those names. There are 87 Slash and Leatherhead, you're right. It would have been interesting and sad to get the reactions to those deaths, especially Splinter's death.

You are correct. This ship problem has to stop really. You make your own Anti & post your feelings Mero, if someone enters your territory. ignore the bastard. & Same goes for your stories, there will be trollers but we gotta step over they're bridges.

Anton & Ivan? um those are the 2012 Bebop & Rocksteady They actually have REAL names in that era remember? Probably should've said Bebop & Rocksteady. I like a former human character by his or her real name. it's a habit

I don't hate any ship right now enough to make an anti post, but yes, that is the only decent way to do it. I don't think I've ever tried to rain on someone's fun by posting an anti comment on a pro post. I just quietly duck out. And that's cool that they finally got actual names! LOL.
