I saw this in someone's list of favourites, and it caught my eye--it's all very geometric, and the fact that its black & white makes this concept seem so much more appealing. Going into analyzing, one could argue that the focus, black & white, and masks at the end of pipe structures is all a commentary about... well, just about anything.
I really like that.

this is awesome on so many levels.
first of all, i love love love pipe endings like that. this is a great use of their repetition - and as a bonus, their dark grey works excellently to contrast
then, the masks.
i love the narrow focus. it works well to simplify the picture as the background could be too much repetition.
the front mask is slightly turned and that's again, awesome - its the one in focus, and it looks like the mask is looking at the viewer. as someone said, creepy. but in a such great way!
the empty pipe in front of the first mask is perfect as well. it gives the space needed for the eye to travel, and it works as a framing of the masks with all the other pipes.
i'm in love with this photograph, and with your style.

Now this is really eye-catching...one could classify this as an expressive piece or commentary on how people can be "hidden" in the larger world as that these masks are contained in these pipes which encompass most of the picture. They seem to be staring/peeking out of "windows" of a larger world. Perhaps even that they are trying to assert their individuality; to gain independance and be recognized from the masses of the larger world. Great composition and piece. It makes one think of how people can get lost in the shuffle of the larger world and address the issues of individualism vs. conformity.
