I'm always intrigued by what people can do with ordinary objects and interesting angles. Plus I can never skip by a photograph of something from the angle of looking up, especially buildings and tall structures.
I love this shot. I love the curves, the angles, and the contrast. The curve of the structure itself has a new twist to it when photographed from below, and the curve of the columns from the lens distortion is an interesting and relevant effect. Plus I just love black and white photos, and this one is no exception. The contrast from the sky to the structure is beautiful.
