I'm a little late (and off schedule) with this image. I was inspired to do another Raiden after his reveal trailer back in July. This was my first attempt at Rain both close and far away. I thought it came out well. Obviously the outfit is his new design for MKX. You cant see much of it but its MKX. This plans to be the first image I post on the MK Kollective site that was recently made for us MK fan artists. Wish me luck on that!Done in photoshop CS5 with wacom tablet.

I think Raiden looks amazing in this pic Esau, heh love this art I haven't talk with you for a long time but I have news for you. The Internet is in big danger!!!!! Have you heard about Article 13? Well I did, it's a new Internet law and his goal is to censor fanarts, memes, fanfics and videos. This is not a joke Esau this is real if we don't stop Article 13 the Internet will be ruined social medias youtube, instagram, facebook, twitter among others will disappear including deviantart in other words your artwork will disappear too my friend.

LOL Thats the best Sub zero ever! I think the goal for some artists (ME) is to get it on the feature page. Ive had two featured so far, should have had more. I would like to at least have more than Flavio. I consider him my rival for MK fan art. I will say that not only did they feature my Baraka but they posted it on Facebook so that was nice. I thought they would feature my breaking the Ice pic but nope, probably cause Scorpions getting hurt.

Last week I submitted them a screenshot of the MK Tribute and a link, but no reaction..guess they really don't like any MK related fan art if its not directly connected to them through such a page like the kollective. Thanks I saw that feature before I saw your reply! I like Sergei's stuff especially his Kabal pic but he likes to add his own touch to the characters which is something I don't do a lot of. So I don't consider him to be much of a rival. Both of them are excellent artists but my passion for all things MK is unmatched.

Simply perfect. I really like it how the setting makes me think of MK4's intro. Facial features and expression are spot on. I wish NRS would release Raiden promos that are at least half this good...

The rain was done perfectly although I have to say that his facial structure looks more native american than chinese. Either way it's a way better job than I can do.

Well I never thought Raiden was completely Chinese. Its funny that you think it looks Native American like because i"m half Native American so maybe that's how I see him. I still think the rain can be better but im satisfied for my first stab at it!. Thanks!

Well now that I think about it... He might say "block". But I'm sure it's blot. But I also think I'm miss using the word. Blot is a dark mark or stain, typically one made by ink, paint, or dirt. I think you might be right my friend.
