When Gotham is ashes a new hero will rise!Haven't done a Batman pic in a long time! I couldn't help it with all the Dark knight buzz! Hope you guys like! Did it in like 3 1/2 hours, wish I could produce all my piks that quickly. Usually I draw out sketches for my piks but i skipped that step and went straight to painting and it paid off. Did use some stock images of bats though. I may not have used all of these deviants brushes but I did download them and mixed some for my own bat swarm.

This one really stands out for me - you can see the carefully controlled anger in his stance and his eyes here, there is a real sense of menace and threat. It also seems to me as if either he's rising out of the fallen of gotham, or just maybe that's what's left of those he hunts down! I guess that's the impression I imagine he leaves for all the thugs and villains in gotham, at least the first time - he's an urban legend, a myth, and no one knows what he's capable of really, so they need to be afraid. Needless to say I really like this one, much admiration for your art here.
