I used that for a reference.
The lines of the dress somewhat mirror the lines of the straps. Instead of bandanna she's got a bow, the color scheme is somewhat similar with a darker bottom, and lighter top half.

I don't get what you mean by "covered the wrong eye"...he isn't blind in one of his eyes, he just wears a patch for, I am assuming on this one, quick adjustment to the dark in his earlier missions, and a very advanced targeting in his later missions.

Big Boss did lose his eye, however the drawing could be either Solid Snake or Big Boss, a.k.a. Naked Snake I suppose. It is really hard to tell seeing as the characters look so different and the scar on Big Boss is not present.
