Description
Three paintings done in oils last quarter, finally got them scanned. They are concept pieces intended to be a backdrop, which is why there is nothing moving, as they would be animated afterwards.The first one is an underground mining facility, the second is a crashed escape pod, and the third is a smugglers port. As I said, all in oil, done on canvas board, each took about a week to paint what with all the drying time required....

I really like all three of the backgounrds. The middle one is my favorite because of it's color theme.=]

It's an interesting contrast between each one.
I'm impressed with the use of oils, a media I've never yet tried, but wish to.
At first glance I like the middle one, I think for the tones and lighting, but the third one has perhaps more depth. More engaging for the viewer.

Woah awesome scenery, especially the middle one, since this is a painting I can't tell you to add more detail, because for a painting this is well detailed. The color is great, your use of imagination is great. No problems to me.

Good colours in the second one and the first one has good value. They make good backgrounds yes they do.
