Description
I worked on this painting on and off for over a month, and it changed direction numerous times. as you can see it turned out rather twisted, but hey, i had a lot fun with this piece and learnt plenty too. Not really much else to say about this piece, you can all read into it what you want, and let me know what you think!Related content

to latch on to something familiar and equate it to what I'm seeing this peice has a Matrix undertone to it that I think makes it both nice and extremly disturbing. It is a very good digital painting, and I like the detail touches like the reflection in the glasses.

I don't know. I get this trapped in a world that is not real feeling form the peice. Kinda like when the Agents detained Anderson in that one room place and took his mouth so he could not scream, while they implanted a bug in him. I'm a Matrix fan (even liked the last too movies in the series.)

me too! i love the entire trilogy and often get into heated discussions with people who say the last too were a scam. when you first mentioned the matrix i thought of that scene, but i cant say i had it in mind when i was painting it....

It remeind me of an Iron Maiden album cover - "piece of mind".
The walls look like they are missing the volume - they look very flat and those threads doesn't look like they are sewn to the face.
Nice concept though.

i see what you mean about the threads, i think they look ok at the top, but the bottom parts could use some creases. as for the walls, i did spend less time on them, but im so bothered solely cos they're in the background

Very disturbing, but interesting concept nonetheless. I love the detail on the nose, it's hyperealistic and the only facial bit really allowed to "speak". I also like how it becomes more sketchy as it goes outwards.

I'm 1000000% anti-censorship
but that's not why I faved this, it's just so well drawn and the expression is intense
