Clockwork Wizards may look strange, maybe even a little scary, but they are very intelligent, compassionate and highly developed beings. They originate from a world beyond the stars but landed here once and remained, connected to us in a rather unique way.
You may wonder about their appearance. In fact, the wizards didn't always look the way they do now. Once they did not possess physical form but were shapeless, nameless spirit beings. They shared their souls with plants, water, mountains and sky, whispering their words in the wind and giving our Gaia power.
Then one day, their consciousness turned to us humans and they realized that we could use their help as well, however the vibration of humanity was to different. The wizards then decided that a link should be established between them and us so that we too could hear their whispers and gain strength from their powers. Shamanic peoples and natives such as Native Americans and Sami often had good contact and cooperation with the wizards of that time.
But our world changed. We changed. And because of the wizards links to us, so did they. Mankind got increasingly influenced by facts, by Science and what can "be seen with the naked eye", and in response to our new beliefs and visions the wizards' apperances followed, became physical, became more like animals, became what we humans could understand. We stopped talking to them, stopped cooperating, but they never left but continued to watch over us from a distance. In their animal shapes they could still come fairly close, yet stayed so far away as to not frighten us.
And now you may have some idea of how it went down - how in the end the wizards became Clockwork Wizards.
In today's world, mechanics, machines and technology influence most all people's lives, as well as the constant stress. The feeling of never having enough time. This is humanitys center. And with our minds poisoned by all of this, thats the form the wizards turn into. Our minds are linked to them, therefore their faces now consist of glossy surfaces, gears, copper springs and nuts. Shaped as clocks and watches ticking away the time we dont have. We created their forms, and depending on how the human race develop in the future, their forms will always follow.

The masks they wear are of different kinds. The animal face is the previous form they lost, a mask to hide so as not to scare us (bitter irony as we are responsible for their current apperance). Different individuals have different animal masks (and forms) depending on location. They also change at different pace depending on what we humans are most influenced by. In places where technology does not control us as strongly, there are wizards still left in purely animal form. However, none exist in their earliest ethereal and true form anymore.
The colored mask is their soul mask. A source of pure energy, their true unaffected essence that they once came with. This mask cleanses them from all the heavy energy that is our world, and help sustain the physical bodies we made them, else they would detorirate.

After reading this you may feel a little down. Maybe feel some sorrow over the fate of the wizards. Don't. They knew what they were getting into when they came here and made a link to us. They care and want to continue to help us. They choose us and our world and will always be by our side. And who knows what the future will bring. Whatever happens one thing is for certain, the clockwork wizards will always follow.

Oh and I should introduce you to this particular clockwork wizard, his name is Ike.

MADE:
Ike the Clockwork Wizard is completely handmade, original and ooak (one of a kind). His 2 mask (faces), ears legs, and hands are sculpted with lots of care, time and details and everything is painted with small brushes and lastly sealed. His face is a pocket watch that can be opened and the handles changed. And the small watch around his neck can be winded up and is working. The 2 masks can of course also be attached to the face with a ribbon and the owl mask has real ostrich feathers attached.
Ikes body is made of the softest fauxfur that Ive trimmed, and his wings and tail is made of real feathers. He is fully posable in arms, wings, ears and neck,and the back legs adjustable - but made for sitting and lying down, not standing. Ike is a truly unique artdoll and I will never make another like him.

He is 45cm tall. (Sitting)
