Description
Shot yesterday, near the port of Piraeus. In a place where the first refugees from Minor Asia settled in. This place is one of my favourite spots of the area.. It is also Inanna's first picture.Dedicated to the General. The closest I have to a grandfather, who is now struggling in the hospital for his right to a decent life and decent death. May your light shine upon us, no matter what.

This picture is really amazing. It didn't look like a photograph when I first looked at it, much more like a drawing. There just aren't places that look like this where I'm from. The colors and the mood it brings me to is really great.

Thanks a lot, Carrie! It is one of my favourite spots.. I think that the colours look interesting due to the fact that this was shot at night, long exposed and no flash..

lol, I could imagine. I love Texas...really do, but people here complain too. I've been to Greece twice, and loved every minute of it. The islands oh just....pure Heaven. I liked the older parts of Athens...the newer parts...well, I could probably live without. But, I'm a country girl...I'm afraid I always will be. Have you been to the states?

I didn't get to see the stadium that was built for the olympics but I saw banners and signs that had to do with it. I'd wished that we had made time to see the stadium though. On t.v. it was just amazing and the opening and closing ceremonies were the best I've ever seen.
