Great walkthrough! I love it when people see the beginning of the drawing, and then they see the end and don't think it's the same picture because it looks so much betterโฆor because I completely erased the original sketch and started over.

Pahahahaahaha, thanks for the tutorial! That tip in the beginning is really useful, I've never thought of thinking up compositions with blocks of color. And the final image is so very pretty.~
If I have any spare virgin goats I'll make sure to send them to you fffffffff--

a virgin goat? I have never heard that one before! (Love the comment)
Love your work. This looks awesome, and it is so insightful. I am just beginning digital art, and it is incredible to see how something so incredible is created!

Do you do all the coloring on one layer or a group of layers?

I coloured both characters on one layer, and used extra layers to add the finishing touches :>

Ahhh I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses brushes xD I've been feeling kinda hesitant to use them because it's not common among the people I know, BUT I'm feeling more inspired now to do what makes me comfortable~!

Hi Escente, I wanted to ask a really quick question
During the lineart procedure, you use the brush tool and I was wondering how you make the lines so straight
Is it all done manually by hand?
Also, I find difficulty connecting the brush lines together in order to discretely to be able to fill in the foreground; is there perhaps an easier way to do lineart?
I'm sorry for all these questions...
thanks!

Aside from turning on line-stabilisation in my brush settings, I just keep drawing the same line over and over again until I succeed in making it straight xD
I'm afraid there's no way around connecting your lines by hand... though I find it much easier to connect my lines when I use a watercolour brush instead of a pen tool. If you use Illuststudio or CLIP Paint there's also a pretty neat function where they ignore small gaps in your lineart 'v'
Hope that helps!ย

Did he let his hair down in the game? O.O I know Gil does it but I can't recall a scene where Archer does...
