Lol just like me to give a french title to a chinese drawing. The original title of this piece was "醉澜” but I couldn't find a suitable english translation... at least the french one sounds nicer xD

During my stay back in China I thought up of an AU story for my OCs
In that world Verre is named Mo Yi (莫逸), from a distant branch of royal family planning to overthrow the emperor. Aelis is his general, named Ouyang Fei (欧阳飞). I've just about wrapped up the plot and hope to draw a short comic on it..........someday. =__=

On an earlier trip to China last year I spent one week apprenticed to an old painter living in my grandparent's town. He took me cycling for hours on cold winter roads to hunt down ancient pavilions and towers when I said I wanted to learn classic chinese architecture... After my apprenticeship I came down with a bad cold, but looking back it was a heck load of fun.
