Description Carefully Mina set her camera aside on a bench at the edge of the studio, "Great work so far Quinn, Now lets get these doors closed."
"So what do I need to do to make the trick work?" Mina reached around for the middle door and gently pushed it to, encasing Quinn's midriff within the box. "Oh you don't need to worry about that just yet Quinn. Now if you could just pop you right hand through the hole. Excellent now you'll want you left hand up by your head." The model raised her left hand running her fingers through her hair as the photographer turned to look over her shoulder. "Hmm. I might need to tweak some of the lights." Mina muttered to her self "Ah well." Turning back to the cabinet she flicked the catch into place on the middle box locking the door.

"Okay now just lean back slightly Quinn, I don't want to bump your head." The model did as she was instructed as smoothly Mina pulled the top door to, and locked it in place. "Brilliant. Now pop your right hand out through the small hole, and just learn forward to position you face in the top cutout." The cabinet was closing in on her now, Quinn barely had room to move her head back and forth. With her limited vision and movement she had to scrabble, her finger nails dragging over over the interior surface of the door as her hand searched for the second opening.

Mina was already closing the third and final door as Quinn's Left hand emerged out of the top section of the magical box. "Okay Quinn if you can just raise your left foot slightly, and as I close the door to you should be able to find the final opening with your toes." Carefully Mina pushed the door the final few inches, watching intently as Quinn's stockinged foot, probed for and found the final cutout on the box. "Excellent!" The photographer declared as she flicked the final two catches into place, fully entombing Quinn within the cabinet.

This. Is. AWESOME. This is a great photo. I really like their positioning and expressions. Quinn seems to start grasping the situation while Mina looks sneaky

Surprising how photo realistic that almost looks.

Thanks, photo realism is the goal. Just out of interest (and I certainly have my own thoughts on the subject) but what elements/parts of the shot do you think are letting the side down?

Umm... I guess the woman on the left looking more like a painting then a photo. The woman on the right looks really good since the expression and posing look very realistic and thought was a photograph. I'm not a modeler so I can't provide technical critique. I was thinking some skin textures would make it more convincing but that would probably be a painful task.

But yeah, at least at first glance it does look like a photo for sure.

Thanks for that. Sometime it's not about technical critique, it's simply about what doesn't look 'quite right' in an image, which sometimes can be really hard to describe/work out. We've all been there, looking at a picture, or a film, and you know somethings not quite right, but you just can't put your finger on what exactly it is. That's why it's always great to get a second (or couple of hundred) extra pair of eyes on it.

I can't remember exactly which shot's it affected, but I think there are 3 in the set where there was an issue with the assistants 'Skin' in Daz. In the end I had to delete the model from the scene and reload it to fix the issue. Same problem happened during the Babysitter set, I think sometime something just get's corrupted in Daz, and it causes confusion in the iray renderer.
