Renaissance is right. What a fusion of art historical periods & iconography. I see da Vinci's Renaissance Madonna,Β art nouveau sinewy, linear, nature iconography, all orchestrated together on a modern, spattered, abstract ground. This is the kind of imagery the contemporary art historians call "post modernism"--a blending of the abstract with the figurative. I think these images are beautiful--the technique is executed with virtuosic finesse, & the compositions are all developed with a rock solid sense of design. In other words, this stuff is as good as it gets.Β

The artwork Bloom looks so sad (and colors of mourning), is this because the moment a flower "blooms" it is dying?
