Description
My uncle passed away this week from cancer. He was a son, brother, husband and father to the the two most adorable, sweetest little girls. This is for my aunt, who's always been so kind about my art. My heart goes out to family, and anyone's whose experienced a similar loss

Yes, I typically compile my references after the initial sketch. I try to find at least 2-3 refs each for faces and surrounding elements

First of all let me say that there is no way to completely erase the pain one feels with the loss of such a dear person on your life and your family as well. The selection of this beautiful angel as the theme for this is such a loving peaceful way to convey the message of peace and the protection of the angels of the loved one who is with them now. This is a stunning work of art. The choice of colors and lighting if superb.
