Beautifully done. There's this cold, barren feeling to the picture while still retaining a good amount of depth. I feel like I should mention that when I think of a locust I think of swarms destroying crops so with the title in mind it makes me think of empty fields and a barren world but that's all a part of the emotion I see in it. I have no idea if that's the tone you were going for but I love it regardless.
