After hurricane ike in galveston, We had ships and boats that were washed up on the roads. It was something to be alone in a house during a hurricane. The winds, the rain, the house shaking.

It was somewhat haunting to walk out during the eye of a hurricane and see nothing but emptiness, destruction and feeling alone. I was alone, it was peaceful in a haunting way.

afterwards, you can smell death and rotting fish.

A helicopter flew over and I gave him the thumbs up. I was okay.

The boats are now on a empty lot, decaying and slowly rusting away

Reminds me of a ship that they turned into a restaurant in Cape Cod, kinda.

this ship is too small to turn into anything.. but there is a smart restaurant build beside it
