Get that slime!A friend of mine has been playing the 3DS re-release of Dragon Quest VIII lately, and it reminded me of how much I love that game. Like many others, it was my first Dragon Quest, and while from a story standpoint I will always prefer V, VIII is definitely one of my favorite JRPGs of all time, and listening to some of the new features maeks me want to get it and play again... even though I have played and beaten the PS2 version about four times, and STILL haven't completed my copy of the Dragon Quest VII re-release.
I love Yangus something fierce, and I really love how he came out here - though Hero might look slightly derpy. I basically just thought it was funny to imagine them in those first few levels treating every little encounter with the same seriousness as the rest of the adventure. So here they are, pouncing one helpless slime. Wonder how they're gonna split the EXP.
I'll take my prize for not just drawing Jessica now, thanks.

Yes, I prefer hero with Spears. Fight me.
