Description
So, if you remember a few days ago, I gave myself a little challenge - try to draw some of the bosses from the infamously awful Zelda CD-i games.I started with Hectan, the blue-bearded wizard , and turned him into a undred percent water magic user. But that drawing was easy mode - Hectan already had a decently cool look and just needed a more badass pose and a gimmick. So I thought I'd go a little deeper and take one of the weirder and more surreal bosses - Omfak.
I thought hard about this one. I honestly think the idea of a corrupted king whose head can transform was cool, so I wanted a way to convey that and use all three heads if possible. And that's when I came up with this vertical mouth, after seeing many monsters with something liek that in many games and movies, and had the other heads grow out of it. I imagine this version of Omfak is some kind of king corrupted by his own greed into a horrible monster. I also took the fact that his lion head spews fire and made him a fire elemental - to sort of make him Hectans opposite.
Either way, this took forever and was REALLY fun to do.
